DOUGLAS USA's future technological successes came from its founders adapting mainframe storage technologies to the IBM Personal Computers for national laboratories, enterprising entrepreneurs, and passenger airline carriers and launching the Hyundai Super Sixteen Turbo (SST) personal computer in 1987. Securing a red-hot Hyundai compact for a photo shoot was no easy task. However, teaming its launch with the automobile industry's leading brand led to its selling out in weeks.

DOUGLAS USA founders also produced the widely acclaimed and successful Computing '88 trade show in Ft. Lauderdale. Soon after these extraordinary accomplishments, one of its founders became the first technical editor of the world's largest newsstand publication, founded newsstand and controlled-circulation computer and reseller publications and created a marketing plan and speeches for the launch of NetView 6000, a joint venture of IBM Network Management and Digital Equipment Corporation in 1993 that led to the rise of IBM stock above $50 for the first time in ten years.

DOUGLAS USA was founded in 1993 after its principals transitioned from significantly in-demand hired guns, art directors, paper specification professionals, senior analysts, and account and project managers for some of Southeast's most prominent advertising and marketing organizations.
